Owl’s Hot Air Balloon Ride Coloring Page

About This Owl’s Hot Air Balloon Ride Coloring Page

The balloon’s broad vertical sections offer large places for color, with the central star set apart from the surrounding panels. Thin supports connect it to the basket where the owl’s face and ears remain visible. Clouds on either side help establish the height of the ride without introducing a distant town or busy landscape.

Alternate rose and cream panels for a soft balloon, or use blue, sage, and pale yellow for a fresh sky palette. The basket could be a warm tan, with the owl in honey or gray. Making the star the brightest accent is an easy way to draw the eye upward after coloring the little passenger.

This picture combines a friendly animal with a simple travel fantasy. The roomy balloon sections are especially enjoyable when you want to experiment with a few related colors. Print the scene for a paper coloring session, or follow the online option to try several balloon combinations on the same illustration.
